Following the success of The King’s Speech, Chichester Festival Theatre and Birmingham Repertory Theatre collaborate once again to bring Alan Bennett’s comedy masterpiece Single Spies on a brand new UK tour. Olivier nominated Rachel Kavanaugh directs a star cast including Nicholas Farrell (The Browning Version, The Lady in The Van, Chariots of Fire, The Iron Lady¬† and Legend)

Bennett’s award-winning comedy explores our fascination with Russian spies and royalty. Chronicling the lives of two members of the notorious ‘Cambridge Five’ spy ring in the 1950s – Guy Burgess and Anthony Blunt.

These amusing and compelling plays span the globe from Moscow to London. With forgery, fraud and hilarious blunders, Single Spies gives us a glimpse into a life full of espionage, secret identities and even an interrogation by the Queen.
